Godspeed. (Which doesn't mean you shouldn't). Then again, and as I informed Unhinged not long ago, do not "exceed your comfort" level in getting here. Whatever the hell that means.

Well getting out of town for this trip can't get here fast enough. Felt a vibration last Thursday that seemed well beyond normal in the wheel. Dropped it off Saturday. Found out today that our glorious roads around here made it all the more likely that a pothole or two were going to wreak a little havoc. Wheel slightly "bent", alignment out of whack and the Pirelli's finally getting to their life limit (15k). All said and done, wheel is now fixed, alignment taken care of but because of the bad timing on needing the car for the lobster run, and the delay in ability to get the rear Michelin SS in time I'm stuck with putting another set of PSS's on the car. Well at least I'll have fresh tires and a straight alignment for the drive. Just crappy timing for this to happen.

Maybe it's my "N of 1" opinion, but I think the jag alloys are extra soft. I literally bent a wheel on the way home from having a different wheel repaired last fall.

The "soft wheel" problem may be wheel specific.

MBourne, Nati,
What wheels do you each have?

I was referring to my XF actually, which had wheels very similar to orbits on the F.

Thanks. Forecast isn't good, but so what. I'll have my camera gear, and I imagine we'll still have some good photo ops. Hopefully, I'll be able to post some via iPad.

Check your mailbox for a lobster roll next week.

Cool, it will be refreshing to see a bunch of dirty, wet F-Types all together. All we ever get to see around here are pretty, shiny ones.

Have fun!

2 miles from Chesapeake House enjoying the local fare:

Fortunately, no banjos playing in the background.
