Can the 1995 JAGUAR XJS Catalytic converter LAMBDA OXYGEN SENSORS (LHE1682AA -LHE1682BA ) be cleaned/soaked in gasoline and then vacuum dried and cleaned with an industrial vacuum? Thanks for helping Sergio
How old is it? If it's over 5 years old, I would replace it anyway. Even if it's less than that, if you believe that it's malfunctioning due to contamination, I would still bin it and buy a new one. Lambda sensors need to be viewed as consumables like tyres or brake pads.
