Just wondering what the general consensus is on what screen you normally drive with. One of the items I like to see is the outside temp but it is only available on the home screen. Also the radio station is available on the home screen so that has me looking there. My normal choice is the nav screen as it gives me info on the roads we are traveling during our cruise days. Having had some Jag loaner cars the features I like seem to be on the info screen between the speedo and odo.
Next to speed, the two most important pieces of information I want are engine temperature and oil pressure but, as Jaguar have consistently proved unable to design gauges that actually work and gave up completely with the XK, these aren't available.

As a result it stays on the home screen.

It's the black and white clock for me. The nav system colors and icons in the 2011 XKR look so darned old fashioned compared to the rest of the interior. But when I switch to the clock, all is right with the universe again.
Hopefully I'll get an oil pressure sensor installed this fall, and show that instead of 'throttle position'.
(Note to 'flyc2c': There's a setting in the Camp2, so you can display the digital value of the gauge within the analog display, note the difference between your display and mine. The value gets shown in that little black box.)

Audio...XM/Sirius. Yeah I gotta dump the service one of these days.
You have to hold the steering wheel control for 5 seconds to get it to jump presets, otherwise it just indexes to the next station. That annoys me. So I tap the screen to jump presets.

Very true, but I like the next station function. Since Sirius groups the stations it makes it easier as the 6 presets per screen is way too few. I have Classic Rewind set and then can increment the station to get the other ones in that category. Same with the 80's, set that station and can go up and back for 70's , 90's, or Pop 2k. Have the Prime Country and can up and back to pick up other country stations.
I just renewed the trial subscription with a 6 months for $25 total that moves to the normal monthly rate after that. I will cancel in the next year so that they give me another deal on the renewal.
Sadly, I dont have the CAMP2. It depends on my needs really. I do like the clock when i dont need Nav, the home screen, the Auto tripometer, Sirius, ...

Be careful when buying from that seller, if it's not pictured, you may not get it. I don't see the extra sensors he mentions, nor the 'multi-function' adapter box, needed for those sensors.
