So I thought I fixed my sunroof leaking issue, but seems like its not leaking from the hose, but from the plastic housing around the drain. I tried using a wire hangar and made sure it was clear, and water does drain from the wheel well area of the car, but in heavy rains (like we had yesterday) it also seems to overspill the plastic surrounding the drain?
I poured half a bottle of water into that side and a good portion drained through the drain hole into the bottle, but a lot spilled over and drained from the opposite corner? This is also the rear passenger side drain area of the car.
Have you blown out the lines with compressed air? Unless you do that, you may still have debris clogged in the lines even after you've poked around with a wire hanger....
My right rear drain line clogged up three or four years ago. I thought I had cleared it by fishing it out much as you did, but it leaked again during the next big storm. Once I finally got in there and blew the line out from top to bottom with compressed air, it hasn't leaked a drop since....

Make sure you're using the lowest psi of compressed air. I actually disconected the drain line at the rear fenders and the sun roof and blew the line backwards into a clear water bottle with about 10 psi.
Did the trick.
I also used marine epoxy on the sunroof nipple to seal the hose once cleared.
You also have drains on the front ends of the sunroof assembly. Best to check those lines too. If you can't see the holes thats a sign and will exacerbate your water draining issues.
Finally, pouring water from a bottle would put too much water over the track onto the area you pointed out in the pic.
When all is clear water would never back up past the water channels on the sunroof assembly.
Remember that the Moonroof is NOT sealed. Water is suppose to leak by the glass and flow into the drain pan.The pan and 4 drain hoses can only drain so much water away. You can over run one or more drains depending on how much water is coming in and if the car is level or not.
But yes I would blow the lines clean just to be sure.

Alright was able to blow out the hose and sunroof. i thin you might be correct and I was pouring way to much water from the bottle and the drain couldn't handle it. Its all back together and we will see how it is next storm Thanks guys
