I hope this never happens to anyone, but has anyone really read the rather complicated procedure for closing the top if the power mechanism fails? Did you know that there are special tools under the passenger foot well?

 

Found them today...



and never, ever, want to see them again...

 

I saw it in the manual and moved on quickly, had not given it a thought again till I saw this thread.

 

May we never have to use them!!!! I needed the 'special' tools for an emergency close on my Audi S4... total pain!

Did emergency on my last TT as it started to rain while on road to dealer, had to call them to get info, they had a good laugh when I got there.
