I have another problem with my Jaguar. When I turn my left wheel all goes smooth, when I turn my right wheel I can feel it dragging in the differential. The resistance isn't constant, it feels like there might be something between the gears? I have pushed back the brake pistons so this isn't the problem.
All I can say is methodically go through all the various items that come into play. ..start with fluid level..
This is a very complicated rear assembly and everything has to be just "so" for the various components to function well with each other.
I would start with the obvious ...any wear marks on exterior of components As well I would look closely at the points where the "over the axle" exhaust pipe section comes close to making contact with cage /caliper/ etc. If you have the stock exhaust system (has a 3 bolt flange where the over the axle pipe connects to the mufflers in front of the cage) there is not much clearance between the flange edge and the cage lip. If the over the axle pipe hanger (located on cage upper body) has come loose / deteriorated it may allow the flange to make contact with the cage. Ask me how I know..made me crazy until I started thinking along these lines. Changed the broken hangers - (died of old age) and pipes cleared everything resting/hanging from new hangers.
Then there is the U Joints and the various bearings (so many)
Hope you get lucky and find the answer ,..can be frustrating..but rewarding once you track it down.
From one of the pictures I can see uneven wear on the inner pad vs outer pad. a sign that you may have a stuck piston (stuck on - not retracting on release of brake pedal) part of the problem??
