I was interested in a wind deflector and checked around and decided on the one listed in E Bay for 218 + dollars until I saw what the charge was going to be for shipping--$75 dollars plus. Is this what you guys paid for shipping or did you get your's from a different source??

Same for me, I bought it also from Zymexx (Kontakt | ZYMEXX - Fahrzeugtechnik) At that time ( 3 yrs ago) Ernie the owner of Zymexx shipped it for free to France. You might want to check directly with him about shipping to the US.
After much agony, I finally figured out how to get this wind deflector to be more secure.
I had to drill another hole a little lower than the first. This allowed me to pitch the lower half of the deflector tilted slightly upward and create more distance toward the rear seat.
Happy to say that the pins are now inserted properly and the deflector has zero movement.
I had a couple door clips from my truck and used them to cover the holes for now. I'll match the color at a later date.

Hi Anthony.
I'm glad you did it. Looks good. Too bad you have to go again. Was actually included with your Widanweiser an installation instructions? The companies can not assume that every buyer is skilled craftsman and knows exactly what to do.

I'm not as satisfied as I should be. Yes, the deflector is now secure. However, I feel that it's not where it should be. It's too low. The top frame of the deflector now sits dead center across my rear view mirror and obstructs my view.
In the picture of SputNic you can see that his wind deflector has a different design. My wind deflector has the same design as Anthony's. Thus seems to be a fundamental problem. I was only lucky that I had the holes a little deeper. Worse that no installation manual is included.
