Well, personally I'm not a fan of the letters spelling out Jaguar. On the other hand, if I were to purchase a new one, I'd probably leave them there to differentiate it from an older model. Mine simply has the leaper emblem and the XJL designation on the left side; nothing else. I rather like the simplicity of it.

I'm a "de-badge" kind of guy. Having said that, our "late, great 2012" had just the leaper and the XJ-L letters on the deck lid, and that's the way we left it. The 2016 that we bought to replace it, had the "full compliment" of lettering. Within a few days of taking delivery of it, all that remained was the leaper and XJ-L badging.....

I agree with the spelling out of Jaguar but I like the "R" or "5.0" on the passenger side.

To my eye some colours can pull all the badges off well (white and silver cars look good with all of them) but on the darker colours it can look too messy.

Without the AWD badge it would look a bit cleaner. With those smaller US-style license plates it could look quite nice with just the centre badges? Maybe just the leaper (you need to leave that as it has mounting holes under it).

This other thread has some good discussion on this topic, as well as some great photos of the different options (Aonsaithya's post shows every combination):

Two things I'm doing right away after I get my X351. Remove badging from trunk and paint/wrap the D-pillars.
