I cut the bung out of my trashed octopus and mounted it on the AL tube (3.25"). ebayer sent me clamps that maxed out at 3.25" so no range on the things to get 'em over beads. Orielly had SS ones for $1.70/pc. Thinner and
so better suited to the SC intake and airbox out. Letting the goo cure 'til tomorrow and we'll see if it works.

 

Good initiative ! Looks good , nice big j pipe.
One tip though you need to move/spin the top hose clamp around 1/4 of a turn as that head will rub through your under bonnet/hood trim !
Mine as it is with a 3" j pipe has marked the trim with the stainless band of the hose clamp with out the head being up there to further damage it !
I'm surprised you can shut the bonnet/hood with a 3.25" j pipe .
