The nose of my first GT was damaged (not by me) and it took almost a month to get the part. It was barely damaged, but the guy's insurance company had to pay over $15,000 for the repair. And I was driving a Chrysler 200 rental car for over a month !

Since I already own my number one choice for a replacement (C7 Corvette Z06), I guess I would go with a Challenger Hellcat. Money no object, a McLaren 570GT or a Ferrari F12.

Did a drive afternoon with Gotham Cars in Englewood NJ last week. Ferrari California, Porsche 911, Corvette z06-07 package 650hp, Jaguar F-Type S, 1 older Lambo and a Lamborghini Huracan. I would take a Lamborghini Huracan!
The Corvette was dangerously over-powered RWD only and 650 HP that comes on fast a nasty combination. The Ferrari drove like a truck unless you wound it up to high revs. The Porsche was a friendly dog that doesn't bite and likes to run. Great car. The Jaguar was just as capable as the Porsche, handled great and sounded better.
Drove home in my F-Type S - I'm still in love, but if I win the lottery I'd trade her in on a Huracan.

Looks like you're drifting to the dark side. Fortunately you vindicated yourself with the GT

I've found my taste in cars have turned more towards luxury and technology. The Ftype fits the luxury bill for me. I don't like any other BMWs or Mercedes for the mere fact that everyone has one. I8s gets points from me for lookung futuristic. I only want a tesla so I can drive carpool!

Growing up i was all about muscle/pony cars. First car was a camaro. Second car was a mustang. I fell in love with Saleen S281 and even the S7. I would never go American again though unless it were the GT.

With or without the 1LE extras?

Funny how you never know the company you will have when getting gas. Was in Hunt Valley MD today in my FTYPE and pulled into a Mobile station to fill up. What is waiting at the pump right in front of me but this rare bird. Gotta admit it looked really good. Need to find that spare $750K I keep lying around........

I would probably get it without the 1LE treatment. I would get the A10 though. The way it shifts (or at least sounds) is batty!

Could put "nice" Mustang + Camaro + Challenger in my driveway for the price of a "nice" F-Type, or any 2 of 3 in the top-of-the line configuration for the price of a V8 F-type. But they would all **** me off, had them before, done with USA dealer service/quality/plastic cartoon cars.
The nice thing about the Gotham Dream Car drive was how nice the base F-Type comported itself in the rare company, sounded and looked great. When I drove home in my F-Type I was smiling: for the money, the F-Type is the best.
Lots of good alternatives here, sure I'd love the Huracan, the Carrera GT, Ford-150, Mclaren. But for the money, smiles-per-mile, performance and looks I'm happy with the F-Type.

Unfortunately for me..my enthusiasm for the F-TYPE has been waning as of late. My lease is up in February.

By then the Civic Type R will be out. Sure its not the prettiest car but considering the options it comes standard (Brembo, LSD, adjustable suspension, etc) with along with Honda's reliability makes it a bargain not to mention Honda's resale value.

Really?

If I was still in high school...maybe. But even then , the extra 2 doors would be a turn-off.

Truth be known, the F is of limited utility in the desert. I have always envied a neighbor who has Lamborghini LM 2, so maybe an Urus.

It looks like one of those Lego Porsches. But guess what? My professional mantra of being secure in my skills and expertises.... I love not having an opinion when it's not needed. This is one of those times. Does it effect me? No. Does it make him happy? Yes. Case closed.

I will say I had to search the car, as it wasn't even on my radar.

3 seconds faster Nurburgring than any other FWD in history. Wild.

Does every auto brand have these flagships to test out tech, etc? Hyundai, Kia, etc? Not to compare Honda to them, but just interested.
