Sorry Jim, for such a late response, for some reason I've missed this post. My fault totally. I'll be in NZ for a couple of weeks over this mid June period. I'll do the next one for sure.

Glyn sorry to hear about your bad luck, hope it gets fixed quickly - who's your repairer?
Cheers
Mike

We are using Koudsy who repaired the rust around the hood ornament. Very happy with them.

Hi Jim, yes a bit disappointing but the wife is on the mend, managed to get the car washed today. Lets pick a date and make it happen. Saturdays from here on will be busy for me so Sundays are more achievable.

Hi Ken, Jim, and others . . .
Despite living in Inverell, I have committed to helping my son in Sydney with his home reno and extensions, so finding myself back and forth. Will be doing so for some months yet so I have subscribed to this thread to keep me up with your plans to meet. Hope all is well now on the health front and you have a fun ABD meet.

Cheers and best wishes,

Ken

Hello all and greetings from the wet northern tablelands after yet another long absence. Hallelujah; rain at last. Yes, there are 5yo nippers running around up here screaming . . . "Mummy; Mummy; the sky is broke and all this wet stuff is leaking out!!!"

Just a much needed bump as I am backwards & forwards to Sydney and would love to meet up if possible. Jim's idea for a run & lunch through Kurrajong/Bell suits my Parramatta/Merrylands base - so, any further interest late in October or into November?

Downside to my travels is no internet access when away from home, but Jim has my mobile number if you wish to call or sms . . . yes, yes . . . I know it's a smart phone (often, too smart) but I'm not such a smart mobile user!

Cheers and best wishes,

Ken

Thanks Jim. My next Sydney visit is from Mon 23 until at least Mon 30 October.

Like you, and perhaps others nearby, I can happily tear myself away for a weekday meet (son's building project will struggle on without my expert supervision, LOL). Such could be a more pleasant drive and less crowded lunch, but understand if weekend date suits others better.

Dates later in November not yet decided - other than w/e of 4th/5th being out for me - but will be confirmed once I reach Sydney, so I can phone you then.

October/November are the "drop dead gorgeous" Spring months that see the Blue Mountains at their very best - whether the Kurrajong/Bilpin/Tomah side, or the gardens of Leura over on the main drag. Perhaps we could meet somewhere near Rouse Hill for the run through Windsor and up to Kurrajong?

Best wishes to you & Nina and looking forward to meeting up with any other JF members too.

Ken

Well no one has got back other than Ken and checking with my wife Nina most weekends until Christmas are full now. I can do mid week as Ken suggested so we'll need to look at the New Year for a weekend. Come on Guy's let's plan something.

Good-oh Jim. I will phone you to arrange a catch-up with you and Nina - perhaps late next week. I'll be on the silver S-Type. Perhaps lunch at The Fiddler if that suits you and Nina? Or, somewhere closer to your home?

Cheers,

Ken

Hi guys. Do any of you get to the local coffee and car meetings? I've been to the Central Coast one a few times (with the XF and the motorbike) and thought I'd head down on Sunday and take the new XJ-S.

if anyone here is heading out on Sunday come and find me and say 'Hi'.

Greg
