Even though this is an artist rendition image of the car, what's up with the front nose bumper area which absolutely resembles a Lexus front bumper. Terrible !

 

Let's let this thing live (or die) on the X760 forum. Not a sportcar.

 

The front end was obviously inspired by a snow plow. Maybe a version of function, over design.

I cant play the OP's video but have you seen this one? I wouldnt give a rats whether the car had 2 doors or 4 or if it had no bumper if I could listen to that engine note and supercharger whine

oh go on with you! Nothing is gonna be as pretty as the F Type, I reckon this XE looks awesome including the front end - though my wife (who owns our XE) would agree with you. I dont aspire to be subtle, my inner bogan (redneck) desires the XE Project 8 very much, wing, nose, and all.

I might kidnap my missus' car and start some mods...

 

I really like the front end. I think its very interesting!

 

hope the regular XE R (SVR) gets the same sheetmetal changes

Was just watching a vid that says that the Project 8 will be $240K!! What happened to $190K? What's another $50K at that point I guess..

That $240k price is probably for the track version, which may not be coming to the US anyway.
