Default Ground clearance

Just got XK8 2005. Ground clearance at front 6". Scraping on driveway grade change. Is this standard clearance. Any easy way to add an inch or two?

Check your ride height. Measured from edge of fender to center of wheel. Search for specs, they are posted on this site.

Clearance will be tied to ride height. Too low, check spring and or shock mounts. You could easily be low by an inch or more with collapsed upper shock mounts.

You could see if you could increase you wheel/tire size. If you have room to do so. It may look good filling up the wheel well space.
