My son's 95 SWB with full option delete. (no sunroof or memory anything) bought new to do the trip from the hospital when he was born. Now at 255,650 and fully functional. Even radio head works but display is dim!!!!!!!! Yes he knows maintenance. Changing plugs before college this year.
I think it would really be helpful for you guys and gals that have achieved these high mileage records for you to tell the rest of us what problems you had with the cars and at what mileage points did these problems occur. That would help the rest of us to identify what preventative maintenance and upgrades will be needed. This data could change repairs later into preventive maintenance sooner and at less cost.
my jag has been pretty trouble free, only replaced the altenator at about 203k,heater pump diy brushes at about200k,other than that,no big problems,i change the oil every 3k,supercharger oil every 5k,differential oil pretty often, all diy. It has been very reliable and not one thing to complain about,it still runs great at 208,600k

Reason: more info
I have 3 X300's 70K miles, 190K miles and 205K miles.
All running strong.
Continuing maintenance is required and it will get expensive sometimes but to date it's still less than a car payment as they are all paid off.
Don't let maintenance get behind. If it needs to be fixed don't wait.

I have 173,000 on my 95 x300. Got it about 3 months ago and first thing I did was replace the fuel pump. Drove it everyday for a couple months and the harmonic balancer failed so replaced that yesterday. Am replacing the crank position sensor in the morning. I'm 26 and this is my first jaguar and I'm really loving it. Oh, I also replaced the head unit with a pioneer deck and installed 5.25 kickers in the front doors and 6.5 kickers in the rear. Sounds great! Have a lot of work to do on the interior to get it where I would like and also needs paint. I'll post pics soon.
My '97 xj6 has 114k on it, but that will go up quickly once it becomes my daily driver. My daily driven car is approaching its fourth birthday and currently has 206,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2015 with a whopping 21 miles on it. My commute is much shorter now, but still classifies as a long one, lol
mine has about 212k miles on it,but now it has a knock that is noticeable on cold starts, oil pressure is good, just had a exhaust manifold gasket leak repaired but still the same,i don't want to start throwing money at a big repair bill,so I think its close to the end of the road for this wonderfull car...an xkr replacement sounds good
...check you have a good quality oil filter with a non-return valve: I had a Fram on mine once, and the bearings would rumble at start-up, cured with a genuine Jag filter
I lost big time. 1997 XJ6 with only 65000 miles and pristine condition. However, it starts to get usage recently and expect to accumulate 15 K miles per year. I considered my a true modern classic.
the knocking sound is coming from the oil pan area,i checked it with a stethascope,i will take it to the shop for a estimate of replaceing the bearings...
