Installed v142 on XP english and Deep Freeze. Clock at 1/8/2015. I haven't installed VDF_LA-142.exe and VDF_LV_142.exe because I don't need for Land Rover (only for X-Type 2006). Deep Freeze must be installed BEFORE first start of SDD. To be sure I always set at boot my clock at 1/8/2015 and time to 01.00. SDD every time tells me that will expire within next day (i.e 2/8/2015 at 01.25). Of course no internet connection at all. It works perfectly
BUT
it has limited functions. It displays all the modules and DTC stored, but most complex functions are not available (i.e Data Logger is not available). In my opinion it ìs intentionally limited during "first day trial" ; itt shows the connection to the modules in the car but complex functions are available only if you login with proper userid and password.
I don't think that this limitation is caused by not having installed VDF_LA and VDF_LV.

Anyone has a patch for V142, to reach total functionality that Deep Freeze cannot provide ? I will appreciate.

 

I'm getting the same error. Would you happen to have that app.war file that you received from Box...? This is becoming so frustrating.

 

I've never gotten anything later than v128 to play, and it brings its own Java with it. Also, never on an emulator, and never on a processor faster than 800MHz (it was in a Fujitsu Stylistic LT that I actually got from a LR dealer when they upgraded).

It worked bang-up on the Disco II, but didn't have the jag back then, and by the time I got the Jag, the old computer was tango-uniform. I have one of the new iCarsoft critters, and it does pretty much everything.

 

So i just got SDD from vxdiag and I cannot get it working at all. I do the auto installer from vx and it runs through fine. Clean load of Win 7 32 bit and it says no network connection and wants me to login. Firewall is turned off and no av. I run the patch and it seems to complete and spits out a username and password. I never get past the no network connection screen. just takes me to login, that fails then back to the no network screen. Going nuts here.

 

 

 

Same here I never got 145 working properly.
you can apply the app.war file from a hacked version as close to 145 as possible be it never functions quite correctly.
I ended up using IDS 125 which saved my X-type from my bunglings with 130/131/134/138/145.
tried following the vids posted by Dell as well but it just didn't work ...lost count how many times I tried...145 would not connect to the internet at all despite me browsing this web site at the time on the same Laptop.

 

Hello everyone, i too having the same issue connecting to the topix and can't go passed ''Network Connection Error'' screen, did you guys ever figured out how to get JLR 145 working? i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times and even bought a new old win7 32 bit laptop and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to program keys on my 05 S-Type R and perform other resets that i don't want to take the car to the dealer here in Memphis TN, their prices are just way way too high for my liking.

 

Unfortunately no I've also tried several more times now on 4 different laptops with Win 7 32bit..even tried xp with several downloaded copies of 145 and the copy of 145 delivered with my mongoose clone ... Never managed to get past the network connection check...
I ended up using IDS 125 to fix my X type , but i did have some success with 131 as well...it ran ok on Xp.
I don't know if the downloaded or Chinese 145 has to connect to the topix server briefly or if its 'pinging' a different server to test for a live connection either way I'm beginning to suspect that the response doesn't exist any more .
If you need a working copy of 145 you may have to track down a good disk image from a similar laptop

 

I kinda think buying Chinese clone is a gamble at best (just my opinion). I searched for buying 145 & found this site (cable & software discs). Just me but buying from the U.K. provider would give me a bit more peace of mind. **Shrugs**

Ok guys i just talked to a ebhey seller of jlr sdd v154, he claims his 154 is 100% working and cracked, also all the functions working so i bought it today, fingers crossed, hope it works, i'll keep you guys updated and if it does work, i'll provide you guys with his info if anyone gonna want to buy it and he only sells the software for 110$, he said it should work with my mongoose so let's see how it goes.

 

Ok guys I have very good news, I purchased the software from this ebhey seller and he remotely accessed my computer and set up everything, I didnt have to do anything, he uninstalled all the Chinese crap and installed his good jlr sdd v154 and set it to expire over 100 years from now. I just programmed all my transponders and fobs, reset transmission, reset airbag light, everything works. I will leave his info here and item number if anybody is interested in talking to him or purchasing his software, I'm very very happy, I spent 2 months trying to make this Chinese crap to work. Oh and you use your own mongoose. Hope this helps. Any questions feel free to ask. Btw the laptop I let him access has no personal anything on it, it's mainly for this car so I had no issue letting him access is remotely through teamviewer. His user name is rikistore1.

You can do a search for the sdd software, there is a British seller, selling software, cables, laptop for $366 (USD)

 

You can reach him on Skype KhomreRicky. Quick info on mongoose, I had good luck with mongoose on 2006 and up Jaguars. If you want to use it on 2005 and older Jaguars, buy DA-VINA 2534 its 160$ on Ebay and it works great, it connects to all the modules no problem. It works even with latest SDD software. If you can get in contact with him, he can install the latest software for you and u can be online no problems, no password required and you can update it no problems. He installed it for me and I just used the CD that came with the DA-VINA to install the cable on my laptop not their crappy SDD software and it connects to my 05 s type r and 03 X-type. These cars run on few different networks, to program keys and door modules, u need to connect to the scp network which mongoose does not at least for me, 2 differnt ones I tried but the da-vina connects no problems and programs keys no issue at all. Let me know if i can answer any other questions.

 

hy guys! i have a mongoose clone , bought 2 days ago with jlr sdd v154 , instaled the jlr sdd worked and it won't read my vin , from the post here i saw that you need a app.war file , where can i find that?
