So going to fit a small front reg plate on the front of the f type, large ones spoils the look of the front, car will be coming soon but want to have the plate ready to fit when i get it, Forgot to measure the cross bar at the dealers. The one in the picture is the size i was going for, maybe it belongs to a fourm member, from the picture can someone give me an idea of the height size, it looks spot on , just want to be flush with the top and bottom of the cross grill bar as it curves in, arrows indicate. Anyone care to do a measurement.

 

There is already a thread about this somewhere in which I posted up the width of the cross bar.

Thanks OzXFR found it as you said, The flat part before it starts to curve, pretty much per the stick-on plate in your second pic, measures 2.75" or 7 cm.
