It is a shame you can't get lighter two-piece rotors for our F-Types, only lighter option seems ceramics.

Yep, any company who makes some lighter two piece steel ones will clean up as I suspect it is possible to save 10-15lbs per disc on the front and around 10lbs per rear disc.

Lets know your impressions of the Porterfield R4-S's when you get some spirited driving in.

Very interesting thread to follow. I too went from CTS-V to F Type R. Left Caddy stock. Would only consider performance mods so looking forward to dyno and those projects. I would also be new to modifying so any insight on best bang for the buck and ease of install would be appreciated.

The guys at Rolloface said they could make us some sweet 2 piece rotors, with lots of custom finish options. I too would be interested in saving 10 lbs of unsprung weight at each corner.

Seems to be a small company, and they told me they would need my factory rotors, but maybe a group buy and we can make this affordable...

Me too, though UK shipping might kill it.

I'd want black hats and drilled disc for my SVR.

Also make sure he treats the disc with anti-corrosion so then the parts of the disc which have no pad contact won't turn a horrible rust colour.

I'm in the USA, and ship internationally all the time. If we get enough people interested in a group buy, I can facilitate the shipment to UK on one big ocean pallet or skid.

Spoke with Girodisc, they have said they would happily do this project for us, but need a minimum of 10 confirmed customers.

They also said they ship worldwide.

I will ask where they are based and see if I can sort a front and rear disc to ship them to copy. I need a pair of 380mm fronts and 376mm rears for the SVR.

Girodisc have a 380mm front and 376mm rear arriving with them next Monday.

I've sent them loads of pictures showing caliper clearance around the hat.

They will come back to me next week if they can do this, the pricing per axle pair will be $1200-1400 and they will let us know weight savings.

But to give you an idea. Our 380mm fronts weigh 38-40lbs and a set of 380mm front Mustang rotors made by Girodisc weigh 24lbs.

If they can save us similar amount of weight would be amazing.
