Encountered an issue with a lug nut on the front left wheel of my car, I've gotten to a point where a 6 point socket is slipping on it, I've come to the conclusion that my wheel stud stripped itself on the hub.

With that in mind I've been looking around for a replacement front hub and I'm having a hard time believing it is this hard to locate one that isn't so costly. I can get a pair of rear hubs for 100, while a single front costs a a bit over 100.

I'm exploring options and have narrowed it down to 3. Bite the bullet and just drop 100 on a single hub, get one off of a parts car (have someone being parted out around here), or last resort buy just a wheel stud and weld the stud into the hub rather then pressing it in.

Hopefully some of you guys may be able to help me, all and any help would be very appreciated.

I'm looking for just wheel studs, also in NJ, and not having any luck so far. Car-part is a good resource for finding parts. Rock auto may have them too, but they didn't have studs. BTY- if you can avoid welding them in I would. That's tough to fix if one breaks or the nut falls apart on it.
