Ride is almost the same. Hard to compare now that I have upgraded tires... Cornering is slightly flatter.

- McGard 78713 Crager style washers (the washers that come with the Gorilla lugnuts deform a little, these are thicker/harder and hold up better. You loose a turn on the stud, but I believe I have plenty.
I just double checked and this combo allows 10 turns onto the stud.
Keep in mind my wheels require a flat mag style lug nut. YMMV.
Have held 92lbs for the past 2k miles.
I wish I could have found the washers in black, but to no avail .....

Spoke to a few vendors today and looked up a lot of websites on lowering springs. I am an advocate for KW, since I installed the full coilover system on my SRT8 in 2007 and they have been fantastic. Adjustable in height and rebound rate (not on the fly), and guaranteed for life. I was looking only for the H.A.S. spring kit for the Jag, as I wanted to retain the adjustable OEM shocks. I finally called KW US directly and they got some good info. Problem is the KW springs only lower a max of 20mm. I want more than that, and I wouldn't feel comfortable cutting KW springs because of their unique design (they would have allowed more adjustment if they thought it was safe)
My confidence level in these manufacturers is in the order I listed them. I had never heard of Velocity AP before this forum, and zmoothg's issues with VAP (above) concern me. However, many others were very pleased with the VAP progressive springs.
H&R is the least expensive, but lower the car more than I prefer, and some have said these are stiffer than others.
I may go with Eibach, and cut the front springs a tad to increase the front drop. I don't know if the Eibachs are progressive though; their pics show a progressive spring but that could just be a stock photo.
I have to think this one through more.... any comments would be appreciated.

The H&Rs are available for $204 at AutoAnything. I found them to offer a bit stiffer ride but not by much. They are progressive and don't really offer additional stiffness until they are near the limits of compression. The only complaints I have heard about them is lack of ground clearance, particularly from those who have to traverse steep driveways with acute transitions to street grade.
I put KWs on my 2016 R, replacing the H&R that were on there. The H&R were way too low and I rubbed at all four corners (car has spacers all around). The KW are great, and I have used them on previous cars as well, consider me a fan.

I'm also contemplating the KW HAS for my '16 R. Did you run into difficulties removing the OEM shocks' (1) dust covers and (2) spring perch? Or did they come off without issues using hand tools?
And how is the ride? Any undesirable effects (eg bouncy / pogo effect) from the new spring rates on stock dampening, or improved in every aspect?

No issues removing the OEM parts at all. For me the ride is way better as I was bottoming out on every bump (PO installed the H&R, so I bought it that way). I suspect I might have gotten a deal on the car since it was basically undriveable as it was. I don't understand why the dealer didn't either take off the spacers or get OEM springs, would have sold the car faster and for more.
I don't experience any negative ride effects. I do still bottom out on the driver rear on big bumps, may still raise that corner a turn or two.
The rears are still on but the springs caused problems with my front struts and I had to get the whole front strut assembly and springs replaced and now the front is back to stock.
