I need to drain my tank, anyone know of a way without removing the gas tank?

 

I did a bunch of reading as I thought I might have to replace fuel pump on my 4.2 fortunately not though, looks like the pumps and everything thing on both 4.2 and 5.0's (50/s also have high pressure pumps on the engine) are a bitch job and involves removing the tank which I would not want to do. I would look at undoing the bolts as that should allow lifting the fuel pump and you could be some plastic hose in the yank and manually pump it out maybe?
