looking to buy XJR 575
My search continues!! : If you know of a XJR 575 for sale please contact me. Also would be interested in a low mile XJR LWB. Cash referral fee would be paid. I am NOT a dealer. I own a 2016 XJL that I love but it has 78K miles and I need to replace it eventually.
Test drove a Merc S580 today and let's just say...I'd prefer a high HP Jag
Please PM me
Thanks!!

Posting it from another thread since I did not want that thread to go off topic...
I'll provide a brief description of mine and then a final comment on potential availability of mine for re-homing - I have one in black. US spec, XJ-L 575R. Have had it since 2019 and has about 99K miles on it right now. Its a 2018 purchased as a CPO in 02/2019 and had about 23K miles on it when I purchased it in 2019. Drive it about 2-3 times a week (about 200 miles/week) currently. Fantastic car. Meticulously maintained between our local dealer and myself. Oil changes every 5k-7K miles. Rear differential service (basically a fluid change from what I understand) performed around the 65K mark. Only warranty related major item was replacement and recoding of the rear seat climate control modules early on in my ownership - all performed at our local dealer. Engine air-filters replaced every 30-40K miles. New spark plugs went in at the 90K mile service. Both the front and rear coolant cross over pipes and ancillary plumbing as well as the water pump and the water pump to engine block connector have been replaced by the dealer (I believe around the 75K mark, dealer has all records. no major leaks and has never had a low coolant warning, but, tech noted some seepage from the join lines on the plastic pipes and as such all was replaced under the CPO warranty). I have a thread on this forum detailing replacement of both HPFPs as well as replacement of the in-tank LPFP and top-hat with filter recently. I will be updating that thread today - all working as it was before at this point, with both LPFP and HPFP pressures reading within range on the scanner tool. All tires have less than 10K miles on them. Recently replaced pads and rotors on all 4 corners - all OE and performed at the dealer.
Work in progress -
1. rear left subwoofer sounds like it may have either its diaphragm or the central black paper like piece coming unglued. Mostly it sounds fine, but, on specific bass notes, it does not sound correct. I plan to visualize it from the trunk and see if I can observe "daylight" in order to decide if it will be a simply fix with a B7000 spec electronics repair adhesive or else it will be the bass speaker replacement. The passenger (right) side one was replaced about a year and a half ago under the CPO warranty at the dealer. Tech reports that this is not an uncommon issue, especially in hot climates, especially in a black on black car where there is just so much heat saturation in that part of the car due to the design and location of the speakers, that the adhesives just age out after a while.
2. the drop down illuminated vanity mirrors for the rear seats that sit in the headliner on both sides have that little plastic hinge part worn out. When I looked around, that plastic hinge is not available as a separate part and the mirrors themselves have been on back order from Jag for the last 2-3 years. Apparently, they have lost their original manufacturer / supplier with no replacement and as such I have been unable to source them from anywhere. I have both of them and the illumination works, its just irritating to have them rattle over every bump and as such I have them removed from their slot in the roof.
Now for the comment - I posted all of the above in case you still remain interested in purchasing one later in the year. I believe you had a thread on here regarding this but it could have been someone else. Anyways, the only reason I am considering a potential sale of my car is because it seems I have been bitten by the classic car bug - specifically a late 50s / early 60s Jaguar Mk1 or Mk2. I may consider a good example of a Mk7 too. Wife and available garage space has pretty much mandated that one of my cars will need to go before I have space for a classic Jag. So, although my XJR575 is not currently for sale, I wanted you to have the info on it for your consideration, in case my plans for a classic Jag materialize and you remain interested. I have cared for it very well and would preferably want another Jag lover to have it as opposed to trading it in or selling it to car-max / Carvana, etc. My other option was going to be spreading the word amongst members of our local JOANT chapter.
Hope you find this info useful. Good luck in your search in the meantime. It truly is and feels special every time I drive it.
