Front Wheel Hubs
My low mileage 06 long body keeps needling money out of me. Just replaced the rear wheel bearings a month ago and now its the front. I am over $3,000 under water on this car, so I am looking for a combination of value and longevity. I found several old forumns on here where people had great results with Detroit Axle Hubs - but they are no longer available for the x350.
PartsGeek has several options under $140 a pair - I can only assume these are the equivalent of e-bay amazon products
TRQ, Autopart, DriveBolt, DIY, GSP
The more well known brands like:
Timken, Beck Arnley
are more than double - the tinkens are $411 each
Anyone have any experince with any of these ? OR something else ? I was hoping for something $100-$120 each - But I certainly don't want to spend $140 on bearings that only last 10 months

I have had these on my saved items list for a while: https://www.ebay.com/itm/171239953312 But I have not had a need to replace my OE front bearings, and can't vouch for the quality of the product.
I would gladly pay that for Detroit Axle based on what others have said here. But I noticed in that listing - compatibility stops at 2005 for xj8(x350) and when I checked on Detroits own website, they list nothing for hubs under the year 2006. I wonder if something changed after 05 ? maybe the electronic connector or something ?
using AI - it claims TRQ is well regarded as "value bearings" and that GSP might be decent also. But I have heard horror stories of people getting bearings and hubs from E-bay and amazon that are toasted in less than 4 months

I wonder if there are any ford tricks for front hubs ? like a ford Thunderbird or a Lincoln LS will fit ?
Actually in that vein of thinking are there any suspension parts that can be sourced through Ford ? I need rear sawy bar and inner/outer fron tie rods off the rack/pinion

All those GSP and TRQ or whatever parts are the same entry level quality Chinesium stuff. They may work, but they may not. I hate it but it's the prevalent option on a lot of platforms now, and some people are ok with having 20% of the parts they put in be bad in less than a year. I can't stand doing a job over again but sometimes you gotta work with what is available.
