Radiator Fan with Vibration , Long Story...
Hello together,
First, we change the rear Diff Öl and Take the MDL Ravenol. After this i feel Vibrations, Not so clear from wich Side. But the first what we so, we change the rear Diff oel and Take the OEM BOT 720.
Too soon to celebrate, unfortunately. I'm a bit stumped. The vibrations are back. Initially, we suspected the MDL oil, but we replaced it with BOT 720 and flushed the system thoroughly. Now it's clear that the vibrations are coming from the front radiator fan. They're clearly noticeable with the engine compartment open. These vibrations are transmitted through the vehicle frame to the rear. But the vibration is strongest at the front, right by the fan housing, and in my opinion, that's definitely the cause. I also have the feeling that the fan is running much harder than usual, even though the engine isn't cold or is only slightly warm. It could just be my imagination, since you can feel these vibrations. But the fan is spinning quite a bit, even though it doesn't seem to need to. The coolant temperature gauge is always right in the middle, not too hot. I'll have to check the engine oil temperature next week, but I suspect it's normal, since the engine isn't very warm at the compressor housing after 20 minutes. I'll report back when I have any news. My suspicion that the wrong oil was involved has unfortunately not been confirmed.
If anyone has ever replaced their CPU cooler fan due to vibrations, or has any ideas about this, please help me. I'm a bit stumped right now. Sure, I could have a new fan installed for over $900, but why does this one seem to be running significantly faster? Something's definitely off.
Thank you so much
Andi

Additional information: During the transmission oil change, the transfer case oil and the front differential oil were also changed! So all necessary steps were taken to change the transfer case oil as well. Securing the regular transmission with a telescopic arm, etc. The described problem only occurred after this. It could all be a coincidence, but somehow I don't really believe in coincidences :-)
