Am looking to change to a different auto service shop in or around Roseville , California. Near Sacramento. My ‘97 XK8, 4.0L, base convertible needs a competent mechanic, preferably independent shop, for regular maintenance service and the usual quirky needs of this automobile. Have lost trust in the shop I’ve used for 4+ years… they got sloppy (last work they couldn’t even look me in the eye). I absolutely understand that a 30 year old Jag XK8 comes with a lot of issues & potential problems, no illusions. I don’t half-trust most service/repair shops/techs, and I simply want honest, competent and fairly priced work. Yeah, I know…. don’t we all.
