Hello everyone I have seen many discussions on this topic but thought I would post some pictures of my car, what may be early signs of the valley hose leaking. I have a 2008 XJ8 with 130K Miles.
I was doing an oil change and noticed some dried coolant on the back of the driver side of the transmission. Please see attached photos. I have read many threads on here that this is typical of the coolant valley hose. Could anyone who had this happen confirm this from my pictures? Thank you!
There are a number of coolant leak points from the top of the engine, but yes there is a hose in the valley of the NA engine that fails. Pictures of my replacement of the hose in this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...on-s-c-149873/
