B1681 PATS wiring — which pin on white cluster connector IP010?
“I have a 2003 Jaguar X-Type 2.5L with a B1681 code. I need to test the 4 wires between the PATS transceiver connector IP015 and the instrument cluster connector IP010.
I have identified the green inline connector near the steering column which carries the 4 PATS wires — green, black, white/green, and orange.
The white connector on the back of the cluster has multiple green wires in it. I cannot identify which pin position corresponds to the PATS circuit without knowing the physical pin layout of IP010.
Specifically I need to know:
• Which of the two connectors on the back of the cluster is IP010
• Where pin 003, 004, 005, and 006 are physically located in that connector
I have SDD connected and B1681 confirmed. New cluster, new antenna ring, new battery installed. Any help with the physical pin layout of IP010 would be greatly appreciated. HELP please ai is dam useless when it comes to this!!!
