Default Instrument Cluster pin out problem...

Hi all - any help with the following very much appreciated....

Background:
2003 x-type 2.0 petrol RHD
Intermittent no crank, no start. When no crank, no start present, IC cluster not "coming alive" on IGN II.
IDS (via 130) and mongoose from virtual xp, suggests investigate comms issue between IC and GEM.

Current hurdle:
The pin outs on my IC don't seem to correspond to the 2003-2004 electrical guide that I have (JJM 10 38 20 / 22).
The connectors on my IC are white on the offside (rhs as viewed from drivers seat) and black on the nearside (lhs as viewed from drivers seat). The electrical guide suggest these to be IP11 and IP10 respectively and to both be yellow.
The electrical guide indicates that the permanent live feed runs from IP1-9 (off of F74) to IP11-7. However, IP1-9 on my vehicle runs to what should be IP10-7 according to the electrical guide.
The connector I'm holding in photo attached is the nearside black connector (driver's LHS as looking toward dash) and the orange wire into pin7 is connected to IP1-9.

Is anyone able to set me straight on where I'm going wrong or point me to an accurate pin out diagram/electrical guide for my vehicle? All relevant pages etc from guide posted below.... any steer very much appreciated!

I think the only problem is a error in the Jaguar drawing of the rear of the panel. The sockets IP10 and IP11 have been shown interchanged with each other on the picture of the rear of the panel.

The Black connector you show has 6 pins showing that exactly match what IP11 has in that row and you can be sure that's what it is! Colours of connectors do sometimes change and are not a reliable identifier. Wire colours, however are almost always spot on, so use them to check out that other than position, they are IP10 and 11.
