I just removed the center mufflers kept stock exhaust any advice?

Sounds like the timing's out. or AFR is wrong.
Could the exhaust removal cause that?
it would sound MUCH better (and run better!!!) if that was sorted!

 

i actually have a lean code..its the intake manifold gaskets.
which I am replacing tomorrow morning 7th time removing the supercharger. should be a breeze.

ive also notice the hissing sound has gotten way worse since i have installed the resonator delete...


I wonder if the back pressure is sending my emission problems into overdrive anyway...well its so bad that i decided to repair the gaskets.
hopefully itll change the way my car is acting also as well in this video the fuse to my fuel pump was out...but yet my car still started?

 

Ah... that makes sense, and yes, you could be correct with regards to backpressure.
I had a similar problem with a motorcycle, and it was simply rectified with the addition of an H-section, linking the early pipes. Don't know if that will work. Your specialist will though!

If i remember correctly, the fuel pump has a secondary failsafe circuit which pulses, which will be enough to start the engine and get you somewhere. But it should show as a problem on your comp. No lights? Have a code reader?

I'm interested to see how the exhausts end up. I want to do the same to mine.
You posted your video on the other X-piece thread. His sounds awesome! Like yours, but smooth, so yours should once you resolve the issues!

 

X308 XJR have two fuel pumps, two relays, and two fuses. It will start and run on either system.

 

Refit the center mufflers, it sounds like a bag of spanners.

ok found out what the issue was.s/c duct seal were toased.
no all has boil dwn to these last few codes
have replaced upper/lower manifold gaskets/*throttle body gasket ,duct seals now i have p1316,p0300,p0174/0171 and r/p....

But one thing i havent changed is the air tubing o seal to the throttle body.the car does sound fine to me unless what im hearing is a leak and not the s/c natural whine btw i have deleted the egr and eliminated the center mufflers ..i wonder if this is why its breathing more ? thus having this issue with vacuum leaks..could any one advise why these codes? thank you very much im almost there but what a difference people i cant wait to upgrade the lower pulley..anyhow heres a clip!
