Default Exhaust blow - RP msg - linked?

Hi Guys - 1st RP msg on my 1999 XKR Coupe - just out of the blue - the car also seemed suddenly 'a bit louder' like the exhaust under the middle/near the engine has a small blow - would this cause a RP msg? Thanks

You will soon have a Moderator yell at you for posting in the XK/XKR (X150 [1997-2006]) section instead of the XK8/XKR (X100 [2007-2015]) section.
As for you problem, I have no idea.

Depends on where the leak is.

If below the cats it likely wouldn't cause an error but if before the cat or in one of the exhaust headers then it is foreseeable that it could.

RP should also come with some logged error codes, have you read those to see what the car is telling you?
