A/c questions and rear axel question
My ac would only blow cold when driving on the highway. I switched the valve and spring in the compressor. After doing so I added r134a and now all it does is blow hot air. Is this because I didn't get the system vacuumed after putting the compressor valve and spring back in? I did the compressor fix with it on the car.
Also I'm needing to put on a rear speed sensor ring. Can I get directions for getting down to the axel to slip the ring on and tack it.
Thanks in advance guys!

Cory, as for the rear axle, you are going to need to remove the half shaft from the vehicle (ie, remove rear wheel, remove brakes, remove shaft nut, unbolt spindle from 3 arms). This should expose the ring and you can handle things from there.
As for the A/C, it is hard to say what happened. Keep in mind that you do need to draw a vacuum to make sure you get all the oil out of the system as this boils at a slightly different temperature than the freon and the problem may simply be that you have too much oil in the system. Granted, you also have a lot of air in the system which is not helping things out either as freon does not like cooling when it has a lot of air associated with it. I would say to get the system properly evacuated and then refilled and see what you have at that point.
