How do you remove the trim on the inside A pillars, without destroying it?......Thanks......Mike

Bottom line is that the foam lining of the material on a 16 year old car has completely deteriorated and removing the panel will leave it loose. Scrape all the foam off and glue the material back on.

New material is available but you may have to buy far more than you need and color matching faded material is difficult.

I read your question as asking how to get the trim piece out of the car...

The trim itself just snaps into place and can be pulled off.

I start at the top, apply some pulling pressure and wiggle up-down-up-down. Slowly increase the pulling pressure and it should come loose with little effort.
