Tomorrow the family head to Loudoun Castle for Cars N' Rides, a car show covering classics to boy racers. Photos to follow. I thought it might be an idea to have a thread dedicated to car shows, with lots of pictures of course!

 

Maybe the powers that be should create an entire new section for car shows, Concours and the like? Then everyone can post different threads under the new category. I like the idea of having the car show pics all in one place - and everyone knows, I like taking pictures!

Cars N' Rides Loudoun Castle, by Kilmarnock, Scotland. 20/06/10. Primarily for the 'boy racer' scene of modified cars, there were also various modern classics, trucks, fire engines and some brilliant radio controlled racers.

There were only 2 Jags......






For me the best of the rest was the Lancia Stratos and Ford GT40.....



...the hotrod.....




...my first ever Countach......



and a beautiful Reliant Scimitar.......



Of the modified cars this Supra looked superb......

If there is enough interest in a car show type thread we could always 'Sticky' it at the top of this Sights and Sounds section. Just an idea.

I was trying to post a short video of the brilliant remote controlled cars, but gave up and posted the Bentleys instead.

Sorry, I see 2 Jags, a grey XF and a black convertible XK. Where is the other one?

 

Aren't there two Jags in the first pic, black and green, and one in the second - the middle grey one?

 

In the car park, I hope!

Be great if you can post up the remotes', the skill these guys display is something else.

 

The first picture shows a beautiful green Aston Martin DB7. I could not get a decent picture as the various owners left their chairs all around the cars.

The show in question was The Supercar Experience. It's mostly a collection of many local owned supercars (and other cars that aren't super, but they were there anyway). Sorry, but no Bugatti Veryron. It was supposed to show up, but it didn't in the several hours we were at the show. They
