Default Chrome Parts

I picked up a 1983 a few months ago, that is in need of some body work. So far I have found a front grill, a set of headlight bezels.

What is missing is any of the Chrome badging. The V-12, the XJS and all that in the rear.

Didn't know if anyone had a spare set laying around they'd be interested in parting with?

Being it needs a complete redo on the paint too, i am not sure if I should go back custom or do what I WANT with making it look? Which would mean gun metal grey with black highlights instead of chrome.... Any thoughts?

The rear V-12 is NLA in the larger size your car takes, the XJ-S is still available. Haven't seen a decent V-12 one on eBay for some time.

FYI, in the UK at least, cars of your date had XJS and HE badges on the bootlid. The V12 replaced the HE badge about 1986 or so. May have been different in the USA, of course.

Most people in the states pulled the H.E in favor of the V-12 badge, uses the same holes.

Greg, your right on that. My 84 has XJS on the left, and HE on the right, there may be something available at Welsh
