1992 Rack and pinion inner tie rod removal
I have a 1992 XJ6 and trying to remove the inner tie rods. They have a half ball gimbal with 4 flats on the rack tube side. It is a 4 bolt skewed arrangement, 2 on each end. Any links to see a diagram or breakdown on this rack and how far to go to change the inner seal. Do not want to damage rack or tube ID's. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!
