F pace starting issue
Hi I,m new to the forum...
had my f pace diesel for 4 weeks now and on three occasions when I press the start button (brake applied) nothing happens, as though flat battery. Then each time I pressed the button again the car starts perfectly.
Has as anyone else had similar problem?

Welcome to the forum Gringo,
I first thought the smartkey was not being detected but then read this warning in the F-Pace Owners Handbook:
For vehicles with a diesel engine, the delay period before cranking begins is longer in low ambient temperatures. The extended delay period is due to extended glow plug operation. During this extended delay period, the brake pedal (automatic transmission) or clutch pedal (manual transmission) must remain firmly pressed.
Temperatures have dropped this week. Are you giving sufficient time for glow plug operation?
