08.30am Gather at Stirling servicesinitial meet point. As far as is possible, welcome packs will be handed outhere.

09.00am - Leave in convoy for the run to Glen Turret distillery.Pentland Jaguar will already be there and set up with F Type and possibly FPace.

09.50am - 10.00am Arrive at distillery and park, the forum banner willbe set up and available for signing during the day, sharpies provided.

10.00am - 11.00am - Introduce the Pentland Jaguar crew. GlenTurret havekindly put on bacon rolls for us from approx 10am onwards, so time for a coffee/ roll and socialising.

11.00am - Announce raffle prizes with a brief chat about each sponsor.There are some amazing prizes on offer, raffle tickets will be £1 each with proceedsgoing into a FINAL raffle for cash prizes to be won. Everyone who bought aticket will be included in this final draw

11.15am - 12.00pm collect raffle prize entries

12.15pm - 1.00pm raffle draws held and prizes given

1.00pm - 2.00pm - General socialising, pictures and conversation with afinal group shot of everyone with the signed forum banner.
2.00pm - leave for forum drive event. We'll leave the distillery andtake a right along the A85, through Comrie and St Fillans to Lochearnheard,take a left onto the A84 and head down through Strathyre and Callander backtowards Stirling. Anyone left at this point will be welcome to congregate oncemore at Stirling services to chat and round off the day.

As always, these prizes will be raffled at a cost of £1 per ticket, everyone will have a chance
The total raised will then be put into a pot at the end creating a final amount (last year was £1000)
This is then split into 3 prizes

Every ticket bought essentially gives 4 chances at winning as all losing tickets go into the final prize draw. The more tickets you buy the better the chance you have of course.

Again we could be looking at around £3500.00 total in prizes being offered.

This is all over and above meeting like minded enthusiasts, some good craic, nice examples of the marque, hopefully some sun and a drive through stunning scenery on the day.

Hi all - just wanted to throw my pennies worth in. So far it is looking good for me and my partner to get to the first meet we have ever taken a really great car to so really looking forward to it.

Am a bit nervous but I'm sure the majority of us will bee.

Had a wee bit of forum time today and sorted out a few things for the upcoming meet....

Dashboard info sheets all sorted for the welcome packs on the day, just to be printed
Itinerary sheets for the welcome packs all sorted, just to be printed
Have managed to scavenge some business cards / literature from a few sponsors, along with pencils / pens / tyre tread depth indicators to include as well.
There will also be some forum decals and SNG Barratt stickers / decals for those that want them, along with a few air fresheners too.

The dashboard info sheets should be placed on the dash at the event, anyone viewing the car can see at a glance who the vehicle belongs too, forum name and given name included
Note - All info for this is as per forum / or supplied and should be correct but in certain circumstances may have to be changed.

The local Jaguar dealer has been slow in responding to the request for a couple of cars and the F type weekend prize and may be in doubt unfortunately. I'll know more nearer the time...

With only 4 weeks to go this Sunday, now ramping up the organisation for this event.
Currently the weather isn't looking like brilliant sunshine, but it is a long range prediction and so things could easily change in that regard

Over 100 attendees, 62 Jaguars, a drive element, a distillery as the main venue, goodie bags and a massive prize draw - an incredible Jaguar day for everyone there. Incredible organisation by Jim as always.. have a fantastic day there guys

It's always a little bit of a slog towards the end and that's after 3-4 months of preparation, god only knows how you do what you do?


It's good numbers, although I'm sure we'll lose a few nearer the time, always the case. In any event 50+ is a good number and plenty to see and do, plenty to give away on the day and the scenery is simply stunning, if only the sun turns out!


I've been keeping tabs on your day out, even pointed a few in your direction.
Fantastic numbers and just so much going on, and ALL FREE!!

Hi all,
I know that this isn't meet related but my air con on my Jag needs serviced and re-gassed, but I am struggling to find a place close to Paisley that is not only cheap but will do a good job. I hear horror stories about going to Halfords and Kwik-Fit so looking for any of you guys in the Ayrshire, Glasgow, and Paisley areas that can make suggestions for me.
Would like to have it sorted before going to the meet.
