we seem short on Jaguar meet events in the UK as far as the forum goes.....
Anyone with any ideas / suggestions please feel free to either add them here or start your own thread.

Hi all,

I'm not sure how you guys feel about it but when I was heavily involved in the Omega Forum, we had monthly (or at least tried to) meets on the south coast. Obviously, this is only of use to members in that general region.
We used to just meet, chat, eat, drink and photograph our cars. It was great to meet other members and check out their cars.

Just an idea. Are there any members in the south that would be up for it.

Thanks Mike...good idea and what we're trying to get going.

As you might see from the "UK roll call" thread it shows members locations that might help with this?

It doesn't even have to be specifically Jaguarforums meet, it could be ANY Jag meet with a few of us there!

You may have saw we have a forum banner flying around, currently in Michigan I believe...lol
I'm trying to see if I can get another one made specifically for the UK members only.

I don't mind starting the thread regarding meets and suggesting venues and dates etc.

I just wouldn't mind knowing what the interest would be first as there's nothing worse than organising a meet and getting no takers.

Back in the Omega days, we were known to just meet in a car park for a chat in much the same way bikers do.

A good thing to try and get off the ground would be regular (say once a month) meets at the same location. New of this then spreads and it grows, hopefully.

As I said though, I'd like to guage the interest so, if anyone would like to chip in, please do.
