No Sir, nothing. there seems to be only power supply cable linked to it, but it does not light up or anything. This is a real puzzler for me.

When Google doesn't return any result for "Jaguar + EVELYN OR", it must be obscure.
A 2009 Jaguar should have a printed Service Handbook. If you have this and it shows the supplying Dealer who carried out the original PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) on the car, an eMail to the Service Manager could be informative.
