Hi All

Looking to buy XS model, will it say on the V5 Reg Doc the model of the car? Had look at one but couldn't tell if it was XS Model, only thing on reg doc was ( model: S Type Classic Diesel A ) would (A) mean Auto? look forward to your advice.

Don't think anybody outside the UK will know what a V5 reg doc is or what an XS model might be.

I've moved your question from S-Type to UK & Eire Region forum. Only members here will be familiar with the V5.

I expect it will only show engine capacity and fuel type but the VIN should give the information you need.

Hello and seasons greetings. I have 4, v5 docs for s types, namely 2 se, 1sport, and 1xs, all 4,v5 docs clearly state in vehicle details D.3 the model type. Eg- s type v6 xs auto. Hope this is of help Good hunting for your s type.
