Just spoke with Brian at JEC re Scottish Jaguar day at Doune, looking very good, possibly 200+ cars expected on the day + whatever else turns up.

So many good sponsors sending donations and appearing on the day, F type raffles and a real carnival atmosphere, should be great.
I've proposed booking a spot for us for 30 cars, assuming we get to that number, any more will be on their own probably and outwith the group, so places going fast.

Hi folks, anyone interested in travelling as group from Aberdeen I propose the following:
Meet at Bridge of Dee B and Q (as per Crieff outing) - Head to MacDonalds at Forfar, Dundee group or any others meet here - Head to Perth via Cougar Angus, Meigle and the like - After Perth head to Crieff Take A822 to Muthil / Braco then rejoin A9 then onto Doune either direct (A820) or if time allows via Stirling to meet up with others. How does that sound?

 

Please add me Jim - Looks like I'll bring BuckMR2 as a wingman, but we should be in my ferry-sized beasty. The Glen Turrett trip was a great couple of days out and the £100 I won in the raffle might pay half me petrol costs to this one. Although I doubt it!

Just a little over a week away now, should be good.
Here's hoping for a full good weekend of solid dry sunshine and clear blue skies.......it'd be nice to actually be able to clean the cars and then show them on a good day too!
The day before Crieff was terrible, but we were lucky on the actual day itself, anyway, here's hoping.
