Ok guys, it's a Monday, which is never the best of days but I do still have some good news for you to brighten it up.

I have just spoken with Denbies to double check everything, and they have been kind enough to offer attendees the 'usual' 10% discount on all food/drink brought in the restaurant downstairs, the same as in previous years - guaranteeing you a lunch at a gtreat price on the day .

They are, as always very wary of the weather due to our allocated area being on grass, and will triple check with me a day or so before our event, but we have this worry every year, and the long range weather forecast is still for the odd shower with clouds/sunshine and around 18-20 degrees on the day so we should be OK.

Our event is growing year on year, and 2019 is already set to be the biggest event to-date with Jaguars spanning over 80 years, over 200 attendees, awards, a Jaguar quiz, a prize draw, talks by the Pro's, more trade stands than ever before, and new this year, clubs and forums on site to meet you.... all already booked.

We are already down to our last 25 available places, so please consider booking your Jaguar for our one day event sooner, rather than later :-) We even have reserved accomodation booked for attendees should you need it, just minutes from the start point :-)

The pictures below are from 2015 and 2018 - this year is already much bigger than 2018.. so, if you fancy a free Jaguar day out please sign your Jaguar up.

It's that time of the week - it's Stats Friday :-)

This week has been a busy one, but again it has been more behind the scenes work than necessarily what you see, in terms of activity.

I have had some movement with our sponsors, and will continue to progress things with them, as the clock is very much ticking now for our event and I need to get the Welcome Packs assembled soon.

I have also been looking into another possible event sponsor who covers something no-one else currently does at our event - more info to follow on that if I manage to persuade them to get involved :-)

Our event is officially the biggest event to-date, with more of everything, and it is still growing in numbers of attendees, and some features that appeared too late for this event are already scheduled for our 2020 event :-)

Here are the weekly stats for you, so you know where we are with things currently, and what to expect to see on the day.. noting that we now have specifics on more of the attending Jaguars which is great, but still not everyones details so the figures are still just as accurate as I can get them :-) Finally don't forget you have seen my maths and statistical abilities first hand so there may be the odd error here :-)

Our forum threads have been really heavily hit with almost 35,000 hits so far.
Our Twitter feed has 592 followers
Our Instagram feed has 217 followers
We have 18 incredible event sponsors
We will have 9 trade stands onsite
We will have 2 forum/club stands onsite
We have 3 exclusive club areas this year
You can win any of 8 awards
You can attend 3 free Talks by the Pros
We have Rocket Photo as our official photographers on the day
Classic Motor Monthly are running a feature on us for the second year
We have 135 Jaguars signed up so far with just 25 places still avail
The attending Jaguars already span over 80 years of Jaguar production
We have over 200 attendees signed up so far

Welcome to our Eighth JaguarForumsUK Convoy & Meet event!
This will be our sixth year of running this event, and is genuinely the biggest, most feature packed event we will have ever run.

Our event is a great Jaguar day out for you, your Jaguar, and your family, with a convoy element, as well as main one day event - including:

Free Welcome packs
A range of class awards that your Jaguar could win
Talks on how to look after and maintain your Jaguar
Trade stands with great products & services at show prices, plus free advice.
Clubs and Forums are now participating too.
Trade demonstrations showing you the trade at work
A quiz to test your knowledge of Jaguar history and trivia (spanning 1920 - 2004), finding our most knowledgable attendee
A great prize draw (the largest prize fund to-date) with prizes ranging from must-haves to incredible treats for you or your Jaguar

Add to this a convoy/drive through glorious Sussex and Surrey countryside, a superb venue at Denbies Wine Estate (the largest wine estate in England), great Jaguars spanning all walks of life, incredible company and you have our event. And not just all this, but Denbies have a range of award winning wines you can buy and take home with you, plus a carvery restaurant with great food and drink to keep you going through the day.

So go on, treat yourself and your Jaguar to a great day out. Our event is free to sign up for and attend, with just a small fee for entering the prize draw on the day, making it ideal for you and your family, even if you are on a budget! Please feel free to take a look at our previous events to see what to expect, and what attendees thought of our event - we have a great Jaguar day out for you, and would love to welcome you to our 2019 event :-)

Please keep an eye on this thread at your favourite Jaguar forum, our event Facebook page, or via our event Twitter or Instagram feeds as any and all updates will appear there as we go. Additionally our event has a new website at www.solidlinux.co.uk giving you access to archived photos from our event, links to all our past and current threads, competition details, discount codes, and more.

Ok, there has been some movement between our 'Walk through the Years of Jaguar' section and the club allocations, some car changes, and of course my mathamatical skills :-) - which has freed up a few more places for us :-)

This is good news for anyone considering signing up for our event this year :-) I have updated the main thread with the changes, and this will filter through over the next few days for you.

I have been on the case with our incredible sponsors, and some more Welcome Pack items, and prizes have arrived which is great, and more items are on their way for us - a massive thankyou to our sponsors for this.

This year will be the first year where our numbers have outstripped the level of support our sponsors have been able to give for our Welcome Packs, so where you are used to everyone having the same goodies, samples etc in the Welcome Packs on the day, this year every Welcome Pack will be unique.. I will be working to try and make sure everyone has a similar value of goodies on the day though, and you will as always have all the paperwork, and info you need for the day.

If you haven't signed up yet please consider doing so - we have a great Jaguar day out for you.

OK it's Friday and stats day - Ok, ok, it's not.. but with Easter weekend here Thursday has become the new Friday :-) Plus we are now only 38 days away from the day itself.

It's been another week of quite a bit going on regarding our event.

Our Club allocations have been filling up, and we have had some attendees moving between sections, plus some car changes.

More items have arrived for the Welcome Packs, and some are currently in transit. There are a few sponsors that have not been responsive to my follow up emails. Not to worry though, I am on the case :-). I am also still working on another potential event sponsor, and am waiting on feedback (hopefully positive).

As a result of the movements between sections of our event, car changes, and a little more juggling with anticipated numbers I have managed to increase the number of remaining free slots for this year which is great news.

I have been working on next years event in amongst all this, and it should be appearing online next week (fingers crossed) giving you an advanced look at what we have planned for our ninth event in 2020.

We have a great event this year, and some empty slots - so, if you know anyone who would enjoy this years event please point them to our event as it would be great to have them along.

OK, I know our event is growing as it is taking me longer each week to compile the stats, however I have managed it OK and (subject to my maths skills, which you are all used to now :-)) here are this weeks stats for our event:

Our forum threads have received an incredible 36,500 hits to-date
Our Twitter feed has 596 followers
Our Instagram account has 234 followers
Our event Facebook page has 482 friends now
Our website has doubled it's visitor figures in the last month
We have eight awards you are in with a great chance at
You can attend three Talks by the Pros
We have nine specialist trade stands
We have two club/forum stands
We have three exclusive club areas

Just as a teaser for you - our May 24th 2020 event is shaping up nicely with some new fun features for you including snap, crackle and pop, and Clean Getaway fun competitions on the day.. I am currently working on a number of features, and getting everything in shape for you with a new logo, new competitions, a mix of both regular sponsors, and new, and trying to get not just Talks by the Pro's but specialists in action onsite for you.

Welcome to just 32 days until our event, this May 26th, and 32 places still available currently :-) Making this the perfect time for anyone who hasn't signed up yet to do so!

Our event is free as in free to signup for, free to attend, free awards, free talks by the Pro's, free advice, free convoy and main event, oh yes and a free Welcome Pack on the day too to get your day off to a great start :-)

We have show prices on must-haves, discounted food/drink at both the main venue and the starting venue and if you want to be in with a chance at soime incredible bespoke luggage from Bag World, vouchers from SNG, accessories to fit you out Jaguar style from Harwoods, and loads more, the prize draw at the end of the day is just £1 a ticket.

Our event is a full day, but on a bank holiday Sunday, so you still have the bank holiday Monday free for whatever you want to do..

We currently have Jaguars spanning over 80 years of Jaguar production signed up for this year - with our earliest signup being an incredible SS100 from 1938! We have over 130 Jaguars signed up so far with just 32 more slots available for this year so please sign up, if you haven't yet, and grab one of the last places for this years event.

You can attend the free talks by the Pro's, vote for the 'Peoples Choice' Jaguar, test your Jaguar knowledge and see if you are our most knowledgeable attendee for 2019, ask all your questions or queries of the specialists on site, meet the clubs and forums that will support you for the life of your Jaguar, walk through the years of Jaguar, check out the club areas, and more..

Our event is free, is a sort of grassroots type event (just a bit bigger than your more usual events :-)), genuinely welcomes any Jaguar whether they be school run cars, cherished classics, showroom standard, or modified or customised - everyone is equally welcome - there is no elitism and it does not matter if you are financially comfortable or only just managing to keep your Jag on the road (you can guess which end of the spectrum I am at lol) we just have a great Jaguar day out for you :-)

Oh yes, the event also has discount codes and competitions to keep you involved right throughout the year, making our annual ebent more than just a one day thing :-)

So go on, if you are free on May 26th, why not sign up and join us (we even have a deal with HolidayInn Express, five minutes fro the starting venue for attendees) and if you aren't free why not keep an eye out for the launch of our 2020 event in a few days time? Our 2020 event will be our ninth event, with more Jaguars, more fun features, more international involvement, and will be an even bigger and better great Jaguar day out...

Just to let you know there is a poll running for this weekend only at the event's Facebook page - where you can vote for which showroom model of Jaguar Tony from Harwoods Jaguar brings along on the day. Just like the model you want him to bring.

Voting closes Sunday night, and whichever model has the most votes, that is the one Tony will bring along on the day for you to see.. www.Facebook.com/JaguarForumsUK
