I plan to attend the Festival of Speed in Lake County in March. Looks pretty high toned, but WTH close by.

There is a very nice showing in Sanford of exotics the last Sat. of every month by the Orlando Auto Club. Great show but I was unable to get a gathering of Jag drivers. Just me and Vector. Anyway I go every other month or so. They are heavy into super cars. Not many. Jags or Aston Martins.

Hello BMW. Haven't seen you around lately. I came on board just after the meet you had in Orlando back when. If I recall, you gave me some pretty good advice on the purchase of a used Jag.

Yes sir, I def remember and Im always glad to see youre still around (and enjoying the XJ!) when I stop in from time to time. I told Jim im gonna make an effort to stop in more often.

PM me if you still have those tires for sale, I might be able to use them for 1 of my other cars.

I'm coming down to the Orlando area more specifically Sanford and was wondering if there is any Jaguar get togethers going on or if anyone wanted to do one maybe the Sat after Thanksgiving. Maybe just get together and show off the Jags and grab lunch or something. If anyone is interested post up and see if we can get something together.

You are in luck. The Orlando Auto Club has it's monthly show in Sanford the week end you will be here. It's Sat the 26th in the "entertainment district" about half a mile East of I-4 on the left. Plan to get there at 9am. You will not be disappointed.

There will be precious few Jags around as we have one hell of a time getting Jag drivers to gather anywhere around here excepting, of course, at the local Jag Club events. I may be there. Look for a nice 05 XJR in slate gray.

So lets get some other guys to come out and get some Jag group shots with an out of towner.

tarheal, let me know if there is something going on in january 2012. I just bought a 99 custom XK8. getting some work done on it tomorrow ... maybe meet up in sanford 1st of the year. there are some other guys over here near me on the left coast of FL. thanks, J

IF you are going to set up a meeting in jan.-2012--how about a central location? maybe in the leesburg--wildwood--brooksville area--------those areas are pretty central ---WE have a bike meeting every sunday morn(have for many years) ,about 7-8 miles east of brooksville on hwy 50 at the big HESS station----there are 100-300 bikes every sunday between 9am--noon. it draws bikes from all over.---------I just think more central will bring more jags IMHO----bkrdoug

I go to alot of bike events as well.. have an 07 HD RoadGLide and belong to the local HOG group.
hence my issue in owning a sports car.. Lol. I just sold my vette about 6 months ago , now have the jag. one thing is for sure, I wont be putting many miles on it. Ahh the toys.
I would be up for meeting in January up in Brooksville or wherever. just let me know.

Am also looking into going to the Amelia Island concours in March, up near Jacksonville.

I'm in the greater Gainesville area and would like to attend a meet if something develops.
I travel for a living and have a last minute style schedule which make it difficult for me to take a more active role in planning or attending this sort of stuff.
But I would enjoy meeting some of you in person if the oppertunity arises.

Nothing wrong with the XK, especially the newer ones. I just attended a Car and Cigar night last week at the local Jag dealer, pretty cool, there were some newer Jags, Maserati, Porsche, Lambo, Bentley. Very nice eye candy and I have always loved the jags. Would love to invest in a newer XK series someday.

Sorry did not even realize that was you when I talked to you. I helped with parking issues and we chatted for a short bit. You ride looked good.
