I found a car in Jacksonville that I am somewhat interested in. I was wondering if someone could maybe go take a look at it since I live in Illinois. I remember someone on here that lives in Florida that is a mechanic or car sales man but can't remember his name. He's stated in the past that he would look at a car if he had time.

St Augustine is 30 miles away so I'd hope he'd have the car in Jax if you need me to go by and look at it. What year/model is it? We have a club event at Matheny Jaguar in Jax tomorrow. Sunday might work.

 

04 XJR. I'll ask him. I know the car has had work done at that dealer. Any chance you want to pull up the service records if I give you the vin? He has most of the paper work but would I would like the service records that was done at another Jaguar dealer

No Craig, I just saw it on craigslist and assumed it was the one you were interested in. it seems to me I've seen it advertised before but I could be wrong. I haven't replied to be of service due to some personal issues that came up. A dear friend in our Jaguar club recently passed and I'm having foot surgery this Friday that will put me out of commission for some time. Life comes at you fast!

 

Craig I'm laid up here for over a week, I did notice today the price on Craigslist went from $ 15500 to $15900 plus he went back and changed all the old ads. I saw at one point where he said he " lowered" the price to 15.5. Don' t know where people seem to think raising an advertised price will have a positive effect on the sell. Sorry I'm not mobile it would be good to get out of the house.

 

I read his ad on autotrader and he stated he put new tires on the car which it needed, so he added some of that cost into the car price. The car was at 14.5!
