Default Dinner Event with Steve Matchett - Jacksonville

Hello all,

Please join us for "An Evening with Steve Matchett" presented by Hagerty.

Steve was a mechanic with the Bennetton Formula 1 team from 1990 to 1998. In that time he prepared cars for such greats as Nelson Piquet, Riccardo Patrese, Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert, Gerhard Berger, Jean Alesi, and not to mention Michael Schumacher during his first two World Championship seasons in 1994 and 1995.

In more recent years, you will remember Steve as an F1 commentator for both SPEED and NBC Sports along with Leigh Diffey, David Hobbs, Bob Varsha, and Will Buxton. He is also an accomplished author, including his "F1 Trilogy" of books. "Life in the Fast Lane", "The Mechanic's Tale", and "The Chariot Makers".

For our special gathering, Steve will be reading his acclaimed story "Breaking Bread with Ayrton Senna" from his latest book "These Desired Things". The event will feature a three-course dinner at Barrique Restaurant with the story being read in three separate parts between courses. Everyone attending will be presented a special signed edition of the story.

Following two full house gatherings in our home of Charlotte, NC and on in Knoxville, TN, Jacksonville will be our second taking this event "on the road".

As this will be an intimate setting, we will have a strict limit of 48 attendees and will sell out. We are extremely fortunate to have Steve joining us and this will be an evening you certainly won't want to miss!
