Hi All, there's been discussions about more than a few "meets" recently, one in So Cal for 6th March and one proposed for Glasgow UK.
I'm trying to guage what interest there may be from this area from members that might want to meet up in the GA area, check each others vehicles, discuss mods and generally talk Jaguar I guess.
There seems to be some really good members here and it could be a great meet.
Dates and times would have to be determined, preferably by someone from the area with local knowledge.
If you have any interest in this at all, please add your name to the list and we'll see where we go from here....

If there's enough interest, we could host it here at the dealership. We're getting into some good weather here soon, so a Saturday meet could be a lot of fun.
BTW, for those that don't know, we are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area, 30 minutes north of Atlanta.

WOW - What an offer from one of our sponsors!!!

Nice one Nalley - This regional section has some great members in it. I'd be suprised if there wan't any interest??
sounds like fun, post the date if this firms up. I have seen a atlanta jag group that does a lot of these.

We do have a sales rep (Bill Clark) at some of the AJS meetings. We've been sponsoring them for awhile now. Good group.
However, I think I'd like to see this meet be separate from the AJS for Jag owners that don't want to be part of a society or a club. I'd like to see it more laid back and casual, more focusing on talking about these cars and not so much about the social aspect.
If we can get at least 5 people to sign up, I'll schedule something. We can do it on a Saturday morning, with coffee and doughnuts. If you have any interest at all in something like this, post up and I'll get it all together.
Thanks!

Jeesh, I can't believe that no ones taken this up. It needs someone local to shout about this to all n sundry, all the locally based members ( there seems to be a few ) and get it on
Scottatl....you may be a new member, but this could be your ideal opportunity to get yourself known, as the guy that made the meet happen.
Why not check out all the responses from this regional section and send a few pm's and see what comes back?

Lew, you or any other AJS members would absolutely be more than welcome to attend.
My point was that I didn't want such a meet to be an AJS meeting - y'all already have those once a month, which I need to make an appearance at soon.

Hey a little movement, nice one
With veteran members like HLGeorge, our vendor NalleyJagparts, as well as some of the frsh blood like scottatl, piececake and razorxl it could be a good start

I see quite a few other well known members and newbies in the region too......get another 5 or 6 and there could be a decent meet!
I really love to see these things taking shape

........ someone really needs to compile a list though of who's interestedFormer Sponsor
Sweet! I'll go ahead and start getting the plans together then. I'd like to plan it far enough in advance for everyone to fit it into their schedules. That being said, let's shoot for...
May 1st at 10:00 AM
Y'all provide the cars and good company. I'll provide the doughnuts, coffee, and venue, and maybe some new models for people to ogle over.

Hey Jim, can we change the title of the thread to something like "Jaguar Meet - Atlanta area - May 1st"? Might attract even more interest with a firm date.
Thanks!
Thanks!
