Is anyone actually coming from up North? So far I see Ft Meyers, Mirimar, Miami, Boca, Tampa/St Pete. Just curious if everyone is driving far for nothing or should we revert back to a more Southerly location. I don't mind the drive, don't get me wrong. Just want to make it easy for everyone.

I will try to come up. I was scheduled to be at work sat to do some dyno tuning but I'm going to try to reschedule for sunday and i'll just miss out on my rc heli flying sunday haha I'll get the str clean and I am looking forward to seeing everyone and the jags!

 

what you guys shoudl do to make it more organized is to make a list of whos coming with each person copying and pasting the list in their post as well as adding their name. Only put your name if you are coming for sure! i cant make it as described previously but ill help start it since i know FJT is going lol.

Dave, I'm glad you checked in. I forgot you were from Florida. What part of Florida are you from again? BTW, if no one is coming from the orlando area, then the location WILL be moved to the originally planned location. As far as power is concerned, I have an AC/DC converter(the good kind) that I can hook up to my battery. And FJT, as far as what's wrong with my car, the question is what isn't wrong with it. I will PM you with details.

So, Is it going to be moved down this way? The Chili's parkinglot gets full easy but there are areas right next to it, about a block down, where people had car meets before with more parking. I was thinking of who else I could invite but besides my sister, I do not have friends with Jag's yet, only EVO's or Porsche's lol

After finals, I was due in for some good drinking with the buddies, and then when I finally got on the road back from VA I didn't have internet access for a few days since I was visiting the folks (old people don't tend to have computers [8D] LOL). Anywho, I am back in Florida now so coun't me in for wherever the final meeting place is decided on! I'm in the Orlando area, but if needed, I can manage my own on the highway without any problems.

If 03 is the only one coming from up north, if he doesnt mind driving a little further, we should do this one South. Original location? Next meet, maybe in a few months when it starts to cool off, we will do a northern meet. I don't mind the drive.

Whatever works bestfor you guys I'm fine with. Though if I'm going a ways down south, I don't think I'll be as tedious with the wash and wax job. LOL the bugs are out, so they get all over the front bumper and windows this time of year. [&o]

What's odd is that I had written a pretty long message yesterday and for some weird reason when I just looked for it didn't get posted. The original location it is,and I can't wait to see you all there. I'll take the ac/dc converter and a few drinks(non-alcoholic) for us to enjoy. FJT,my car is full of problems and it's throwing a few codes, but the primary problems right now are the airbag light blinking and sometimes staying on, and also the traction control light(the spinning wheel) sometimes comes on when I'm driving and my car suddenly looses all power. Now after a few seconds, the light goes away and the car begins to operate normally. It's happened about 6 or 7 times now. I'm afraid one day it just won't go back to normal. As far as what codes it's thrown, I'm not sure because my car already threw codes to begin with, but since the car was running fine I never messed with it. Now I regret ignoring them. LOL! Thanks for your time.

 

I should be leaving the house around 9 or 9:30 tomorrow morning. I tried to tell myself I wasn't going to wash the car for the meet since it was gonna be in Boca, but I think that I lied to myself. When the sun was setting, somehow I was still pulled outside. [X(] I'll see you guys at the meet!!!! $20 says I'm the youngest person there, any takers?

 

Can't part with my hard earned....but we will see for sure tomorrow.
