Default Best XKE Repair Shop in Metro DC area

I am new to the forum and just purchased a Series 1 4.2 OTS and am wondering about local repair shops that people have had good success with working on Series 1 XKE's.

Thanks, Alan

To make clear, I do not own an E, just a mere plebeian XJ, latest in a long series, but I’ve used a lot of shops. You might talk to the folks at Top Line Jaguar repairs near Costco in Springfield, or to Master Auto in Rockville. I used a great Indy in Rockville who lived and breathed Jags but he lost his lease and mostly retired. I’ve used both Top Line and Master and was very pleased.

I would suggest you contact the guys from Nation's Capital Jaguar Owners Club https://www.ncjoc.net/. They probably can provide the best information on who to go to and where to source the parts. If you want a good Jaguar mechanic, Hasi in Kensington, MD, Prestige Auto Performance, and is definitely a good trusted mechanic with a good team. Works on Jags and Land Rovers, Porsches, and more. He does restorations on old Land Rovers. Someone who appreciates cars.
