We have a great group of enthusiasts who get together every Sunday that it is not raining for coffee and breakfast at the Fair Lakes Starbucks in Fairfax, VA. It is located at 12599 Fair Lakes Circle. We meet in the Kohl’s parking lot, adjacent to Starbucks, between 8:30 am and 10:30 am and usually have a wide variety of cars…from hot-rods and classics to Europeans and exotics. It is about 30 seconds from the intersection of I-66 & 7100.

There is plenty of safe parking and we get upwards of 60 cars. It would be great to have some Jaguar folks come out!

 

Well, supposedly the weather guessers are saying that Sunday should be sunny and not wet! If that truly is the case, come out for coffee and meet some fellow car-nuts. It really is a good group!

Another great turn out last Sunday. Here are just a few of the rides that showed. It's a great group of friendly folks - hope you all come and meet us sometime.

 

Lister, are you planning on being there this sunday? Just curious. I'm thinking about heading up there and seeing what this is all about. It would be good to run into you and talk shop for a little bit. if you are going to be there, I will tell you what I will be wearing (have a shirt in mind that will make me unique up there).

 

I am planning on being there around 8:30 am. I'll be easy to find...LOL

Oh this is great! I move out of Leesburg Va. and spend the summer in OC Md. and you decide to do a get together in Fairfax. I need to find a place in OC Md and have my own coffee and donuts.

 

Lister, be on the lookout for a guy wearing a black T-shirt with a "Goat Locker" covered front. That will be me. Not many of these shirts out there. I'll probably get there around 9. Depends on how the traffic is.

Ed, not sure but am leaning toward bringing the Lister. Might be in the RSR to test out the clutch adjustment tho.

 

Lister, I'm going to back out this weekend. with the rain and whatnot, odds are not many people are going to be bringing out there toys. I'll catch up with you on another weekend. As for the "goat locker", look it up, it will explain a lot about my past. If you can't laugh at life, what can you laugh at?

I didn't make it either...it was raining at 8 am at my place and the Lister is not much fun as it has no top. Hopefully we can catch up next sunday.

Lister, it is going to be a few weeks before I will make it out that way as I am going out of town. But, keep in mind that I am looking to get a group of us together over in Arlington on July 16th. That is not too far for you and hopefully we will get a decent turn out. So far it is just me and 1 other member that has committed to this.

 

Depending where in Arlington, I might be interested. The Lister is a BEAR in traffic and is quite unhappy in stop and go! Hope you can make it out one Sunday. it is a really great group, many very interesting cars, and always a wide variety. Not too many jags tho!

another great turn out last Sunday - around 60 cars. Met some new folks and there were some pretty cool rides (like the limited production Lotus and the Daytona Coupe Continuation Series. Really hope to see some jags make it out sometime! Here are a few pics:

 

Lister, are you going to be out there this weekend? I may come up. Not much happening this weekend for me.

As for the G2G next weekend, you should be fine. The place is right off of I-95 by a block. So, the amount of stop and go traffic that you will be exposed to should be very minimal.

 

I am hoping to make it out this sunday. got a lot going on but i really try to make it most weeks. Hope to see you there! BTW, check out my album, just added another "chapter".
