Default Does anyone have the jaguar specialty tools for the timing chains?

I live in virginia and have eecided to tackle the project of replacing my timing chains, tensioners, guides, waterpump and thermostat housing. I was wondering if anyone in the area personally had the tools for rental/purchasing or could point me in the direction of someone that does. Thanks ahead of time.

Try borrowing them from your local Lincoln dealer, the 4litre Lincoln LS has the same Jag engine and all dealers should have the tool kits. Good Luck.

If you buy the chain and tensioners online some of the retailers will rent the tools to you.

You have 2 ways to replace the tensioner one is with the tool and the other is with wire ties. See the link below.
