Default ISO Jaguar mechanics in Rockville/Montgomery County MD

Does any one know of good Jaguar mechanics in or close to Rockville, MD ie apart from dealers? I have no problems diving into my '03 Volvo S60 T5's innards, but I am not so cavalier with my '04 VDP

jeropon, not sure if this is what you are thinking, but if you are wanting to learn some about your car and don't mind getting a bit greasy, then come on down to my place. I live south of you by about 2 hours (I drive up to Rockville once a month) in California, MD and unless you are after something that is pretty intense, I am sure we can get you taken care of.

I, too, am looking for a good independent jag mechanic in the Rockville area. My great (he is honest and reasonably priced) American mechanic recommend Master Auto Service on Randolf Rd.

Does anyone have good (or importantly) bad things about Master Auto service or another close jag mechanic?

thanks in advance!

I live in Havre de Grace, Md, and looking for a Jag mechanic. I may just have to take it to the dealership. I dont trust regular shops.

Try English Auto in Odenton Md.

The owners Shane and Mike are excellent former dealer mechanics: English Auto - English Auto

They did a flawless engine swap on my S-type a couple of years go.

Hasi at Prestige Auto Performance, in Kensington, MD, has been my mechanic for years now. He's very trustworthy has identified many of my issues with my 2002 S-Type. One issue we had problems with was the valve cover gasket which kept leaking and causing smoke. He replaced it several times and finally decided that it was probably a warped valve cover and replaced it with a used one which finally doesn't smoke. The service was covered under warranty as well as the part. Never once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of.
He does work on lots of Land Rovers as well and of course others cars like Porsche and Japanese cars as well. Feel free to mention my name. Prestige Auto Performance - Home 301-942-0383
